Imagine the Blessed Virgin in ecstasies of bliss, beholding her Divine Son in His glory.
Affections:
O holy and glorious Virgin, my beloved Mother Mary, with heartfelt joy I join in the jubilee of the angelic hosts and in the canticle of Holy Church. "O Queen of Heaven, rejoice! Alleluia! He Whom thou wast made worthy to bear, Alleluia! Hath risen again as He said! Alleluia! I offer thee my felicitations to the honor and glory which the resurrection of Thy Son has brought upon thee, His Blessed Mother. Forget us not, thy poor children, O powerful and benign Virgin! Disengage our hearts from all earthly affections that the grace of our Blessed Saviour may find no obstacle, and the peace and joy of the Holy Spirit constantly dwell in us.
